NLAS Membership

There are now five types of membership. NLAS added a couple membership which encourages spouses of present members to join and participate in NLAS events.

Membership is open to persons aged 18 and older who are:

1. Members of a Lutheran congregation
2. Members in a civic youth-serving agency
3. Other persons subscribing to, and wishing to further the purposes of NLAS

The term of membership is June 1 to May 31.

The minimum contributions for membership are:

Regular....................................................$12.00
Couple ....................................................$18.00
Contributor..............................................$50.00
Century Club...........................................$100.00
Life Member...........................................$350.00

Members receive the LUTHERAN SCOUTING, a newsletter published three times a year, which reports on the activities of local LAS's, the accomplishments of members, general scouting news.

Members who are current in their membership are eligible to vote for regional and national officers and on all other matters that come before the Association.

Honorary membership may be bestowed on worthy individuals by the Executive Board.
